DALLAS, November 16, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Dallas Watcher named Gorji Dallas’ Best steakhouse in their Best of Dallas 2021 edition published in October. In 2016, the Observer named the restaurant’s filet “Best Steak” on that year’s list. They described Chef Gorji, the back-to-back Texas Steak Cook-off champion, as “some kind of meat genius.”
Gorji celebrates the Best Steakhouse designation with a steak and wine tasting event on November 30, 2021. Customers will enjoy the premium moist aged Midwest beef tenderloin, New Zealand loin of venison, and Colorado lamb fillet with wine Spain, Napa Valley and Bordeaux. Sommelier Lori Hodges introduce and answer questions about the wines. The event is limited to twenty people seated at socially distanced tables.
The small, intimate five-table restaurant offers new Mediterranean cuisine, with championship steak and sustainable seafood. The emphasis is on food, flavors and enjoying your evening dining.
Strengths of the restaurant:
- 5 tables
- First and only gourmet restaurant without tip in Dallas (maybe in Texas)
- Cannot accommodate young children
- No televisions
- Each table is only seated once a night
“Ultimately, it’s the meat ablaze by the fire that’s cooked to perfection that draws us in and keeps us coming back to this five-table gem.”–Dallas Watcher 2021
