Evie Mohrfeld: One more trip before the end of 2021 – Austin Daily Herald

As the holidays quickly approach all of us, I have a little note to share with you.

Currently there is only one trip left for this 2021 travel season and it is December 29 when the Chanhassen Dinner Theater is our destination with a special musical, “An Andy and Bing Christmas” featuring an orchestra. full of 19 musicians. This show will allow us to remember our favorite music of the time.

The bus will leave at 9 a.m., compared to 9:30 a.m. previously south of Walmart.

Vaccines against COVID-19 are mandatory. We will also be asked to produce proof with our vaccination card. The theater will stamp your card before you enter the dining room.

All must wear masks throughout the event, except for meals. Actors in the theater need to be safe in order to continue to be entertained.

We encourage you to consider adding your name to the waiting list. Last minute cancellations do occur.

If you’re still looking for that last minute giveaway, we can help you with a fall travel gift certificate. The travel office will not be open, but call 507-438-3946 by email, [email protected] and we can help you.

As our shortened 2021 travel season draws to a close, we are grateful that we were able to make the outings we have made.

Plans are underway for a trip in 2022, which will be announced soon.
