Shannon Wynne is a prolific restaurateur and concept king in Dallas and Fort Worth and beyond, known for his famous -O-named restaurants in Highland Park, Lower Greenville and Uptown that started in the 80s.

Its famous 8.0 restaurants/bars, Tango, Nostromo and Rio Room are still part of table conversation and restaurant tradition today. He is a trendsetter, a taste maker and a pioneer in knowing what people want and keeping his concepts authentic to the regions where they reside and incorporating local influences.

Today, his company 8.0 Management operates Flying Fish, Rodeo Goat, Meddlesome Moth, Flying Saucer Draft Emporium and Miriam’s Cocina Latina. What people might not know is that his dad started Six Flags Over Texas and other park locations and was involved early on in The Stoneleigh P.
