Raise the cane is hosting a grand opening celebration for its upcoming Clear Lake restaurant, the first of three new expansions in the Houston area.

The one-day event promises activities, giveaways, performances and a special appearance by 94.5 The Buzz’s Rod Ryan in the afternoon.

The Louisiana-style fried chicken restaurant is also hosting a “Lucky 20” drawing. The 20 guests who enter between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. and who win can get “Free Cane’s for Year”.

Space Center Houston staff will also be on hand from 5-7 p.m. for activities and ice cream.

The party starts September 20 in the 2400 block of Bay Area Boulevard. Two more locations in Deer Park and North Houston are set to debut in December.
