Rooftop restaurants in the United States that you must visit at least once

For a long time, Fort Lauderdale stood in the shadow of its most famous neighbor to the south: Miami. But in recent years, Fort Lauderdale has earned a reputation as an exciting destination in its own right. With a strong influx of new interests and new development projects underway, it has slowly transformed itself into an all-around economic powerhouse (via Forbes). Renowned for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife, Fort Lauderdale is a city that has it all: tons of sunshine and world-class food along a dreamy coastline.

Rooftop is a bar and lounge located on Las Olas Boulevard next to the New River, which empties into the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Not only is the establishment a great place to grab some amazing drinks and views of the city, but it’s also a great choice for filling your belly. Rooftop offers a streamlined brunch menu that includes savory dishes like strawberry-guava french toast and breakfast tostadas. Besides brunch, the restaurant also offers other dishes like shrimp tempura tacos, buffalo chicken empanadas, and a chicken Milanese sandwich.

When it comes to drinks, you really can’t lose. A range of craft cocktails awaits, such as the Jalisco cooler with tequila, basil, cucumber, jalapeño, lemon and lime. With lots of plants and greenery around, Rooftop looks like a garden in the sky that also knows how to party.
