New Delhi, June 4 (IANS): Snapchat has partnered with restaurant review website The Infatuation to help users find the best local restaurants nearby on Snap Map.
Snapchatters around the world will now automatically see Infatuation reviews in location profiles in over 50 cities around the world.
Last year, the photo-sharing platform introduced Layers as a new way for Snapchatters to find things to do with their friends on Snap Map.
“In just a few months, our first two layers alone have been used over 100 million times,” Snapchat said in a statement Friday.
Now with the craze. Snapchatters in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, DC, and London can use Layer to find the best Infatuation-approved restaurants nearby.
They should “head to our new menu in the top right corner of the Snap card and tap the craze icon.”
Once the layer is enabled, Snapchatters will see all their top local restaurants and can share their top picks with friends via chat, or add restaurants to their favorites to return to later.
Earlier this year, Snapchat partnered with Ticketmaster to launch a new way for users to experience live entertainment events in Snap Map.
According to the company, more than 250 million users turn to Snap Map every month.
