It’s easy to include Dallas bars, restaurants, and breweries in your small business Saturday shopping. Neighborhoods like Knox Henderson and the Bishop Arts District are made for this with local shops and restaurants you can visit on a shopping spree or leisurely stroll. Shop and dine at your leisure on Garland Road near Peavy or several Mockingbird Lane malls, or attend one of these special Saturday small business events that put it all together for you.

Craft Market at Vector Brewing

Over 40 artisans will be in the back parking lot of Vector Brewing with a variety of products and gifts. Some of the foodie favorites will be there, including Bread in Texas, Wylie’s Ferris Wheel Coffee and Oak Cliff Cravings whose crazy candy enchilados will make you smile.

Maraville Cacao will have candies, Mexican chocolate hot chocolate bombs and unique treats like corn in a candy bar. Drop Dead Delicious Pickling Company will have its Bloody Mary Dill and Ugly Mustard Dill pickles made right here in Dallas using cucumbers, herbs and peppers from Texas. Texas Craft Brewers Guild, a nonprofit that advances the Texas craft beer industry, created a limited edition drink to celebrate Small Business Saturdays at several breweries in Dallas and more across Texas. . The ‘Here’s to Gettin’ Back There ‘glass was designed by DeuxSouth Creative, and $ 1 of each glass sold will go to guild.

Local participants include Civil Pour, Hop & Sting Brewing Co., Odd Muse Brewing, Peticolas Brewing Co., Texas Ale Project, Vector Brewing, and White Rock Alehouse & Brewery. Check out their social media for information on the purchase price and quantities available, or just drop by and sip beers at your favorite local brewery.

Why jingle all the way when you can make a cocktail all the way? The Lowest Greenville Merchant Collective is having its 5th annual Light Up Lowest Greenville event on Small Business Saturdays this year with several specialty cocktails and more local businesses. HG Sply Co. will offer vacation photo ops and a $ 6 Jingle Juice cocktail, while Flatbread Co. will offer a selection of drinks and pizza samples for $ 5. Standard service will offer a Son of a Nutcracker cocktail for $ 6, and Rapscallion offers a signature cocktail for $ 8 with whiskey, cocoa infused Campari and sweet vermouth.

Despite all the cocktail offers, this event is family friendly: Santa will be stationed at Greenville Avenue Pizza Co. and the tree lighting will take place outside Son of a Butcher at 7 p.m. Facebook Events Page for details on all promotions.

More than 25 businesses from downtown Garland will participate in a free Small Business Saturday celebration to kick off a series of Christmas events around the square. Dallas by Chocolate and Dallas Bites Christmas Tours

“Our Christmas Lights, Chocolate & Sips tours feature uniquely local dessert spots and some of the most exciting areas in town for Christmas lights,” Stevens said.

Tours run from November 26 through December 30, and a variety of options include the Park Cities / Downtown Dallas areas as well as the Frisco / Addison lights. Other Christmas Lights Tours include Dallas’ Best Speakeasies, a Vegan Dessert Tour, and Social Distancing Tours where you drive to the Christmas Lights locations in your own vehicle and the host meets you there to serve you delicious Dallas food.
