Opened in 1912, the stately building is one of the most historic hotels in Texas. According to Elle Decor, it is also the most famous hotel in Texas! Hand-built by European craftsmen and opened in 1912, the historic Adolphus Hotel is one of Dallas’ most majestic landmarks.

It dominates Commerce Street and is located on the original site of City Hall.

The hotel was inspired by the Beaux-Arts style castles of Germany. Arched windows and intricate carvings make guests feel like royalty before they even step inside.

At 22 stories tall, the Adolphus was the tallest building in Texas for a decade.

Despite renovations to keep up with the times, the hotel’s 110-year history has been carefully preserved.
