1. The Fort Worth-area Alamo Drafthouse theater turns off the lights for good. Less than three years after its grand premiere, the Alamo Drafthouse cinema in North Richland Hills is closing for good. According to a statement, the owners of the theater have filed for bankruptcy, along with two other locations – Richardson and Lake Highlands in Dallas. North Richland Hills is the only place closing permanently, they say.

3. Colleyville is getting back to the movies with the opening of new Look Dine-In theaters. LOOK Dine-In Cinemas unveiled its new location in Colleyville when the theater opened to the public on Thursday, March 3. Located at 5655 Colleyville Boulevard, Suite 300, in downtown Colleyville, Look Cinemas has taken over a location that once housed Studio Movie Grill before being closed due to the pandemic.
