What they’re saying nationwide about Amanda Nunes’ dominant UFC 250 win over Felicia Spencer

Amanda Nunes has proven why she is a force to be reckoned with. The 32-year-old defended her UFC women’s featherweight title by unanimous decision by beating Felicia Spencer on Saturday night. The two faced off in the main event of UFC 250 at the APEX facilities in Las Vegas.

Nunes won his 11th consecutive victory and his 20th victory overall. She is now the first female fighter to defend a championship belt while holding titles in two weight classes.

She started the first round strong and controlled the fight for the remaining four rounds. Nunes used a mixture of punches, leg kicks, elbows and a back kick to Spencer’s body to knock her down. When Spencer arrived with his own strikes, Nunes was able to counter them almost effortlessly.

Although Nunes appeared to be in total control of the fight, Spencer held on longer than many expected. Here’s what they’re saying nationwide about Saturday’s fight.
